Facilities & Services

How many people can the cottage accommodate?

The cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people, with 2 bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200) and another with two single beds (90 x 200).

Are children welcome?

Absolutely! We will also be delighted to lend you a travel cot, high chair, changing mat, or bed rail free of charge. Feel free to inform us when making your reservation or upon arrival.

Which amenities are available in the cottage?

Our cottage is equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable, including a fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms with dressing area and wardrobe, a modern bathroom, and a television. Explore the Services & Facilities page to learn more.

Which services are included in the price of the stay?

The price of the stay includes cleaning, linens (sheets, towels, pool towels), household products, Wi-Fi access, and other leisure/comfort amenities. Please refer to the Cottage page for a comprehensive list.

Which outdoor facilities are available?

You will have access to a private terrace of 22 m² with garden furniture, including a table, chairs, and sun loungers. Additionally, a heated swimming pool, equipped with a safety cover, is available from May to September. The pool is shared with the hosts.

Do we need to bring our own sheets and towels?

No, we provide linens, including sheets, bath towels, and pool towels. Additionally, the beds are made upon your arrival.

Does the cottage provide toiletries or should we bring them?

We provide basic toiletries such as soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. However, we recommend bringing your own toiletries for added comfort.

Do you provide everyday products?

Yes, we provide dishwashing liquid and dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, a sponge, and kitchen towels.

Is there parking available and is it free?

Yes, we have free and secure parking adjacent to the cottage.

Is there Wi-Fi available in the cottage?

Yes, high-speed Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all rooms and common areas of the cottage.

Which languages do the hosts speak?

We speak French, Luxembourgish, English, and German.

How can I book a stay at your accommodation?

You can book your stay online through our website using our secure booking system. Our accommodation is also available on the Booking.com reservation platform. You also have the option to contact us by phone, email or through our contact form to make your reservation.

Is a deposit required upon booking?

Yes, your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit corresponding to 25% of the total amount of your stay.

What are your cancellation and refund policies?

We would like to inform you that the deposit paid at the time of your reservation is fully refundable in case of cancellation up to 30 days before. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, which is why we encourage you to plan your stay carefully. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Do you offer special deals for long-term stays?

When you book a six-day stay, you will enjoy an extra night for free. It is an ideal opportunity to extend your visit and explore more of our beautiful region.

Are there any additional fees to consider when booking?

Yes, a tourist tax of €1.50 per person per night applies to individuals over 18 years old.

Stay Rules & Practical Information

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is possible between 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM, and check-out is between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. If you have specific time constraints, please let us know when making your reservation. We will do our best to accommodate.

Are pets welcome?

Unfortunately, we do not accommodate pets at our establishment.

Is smoking allowed inside the cottage?

No, the cottage is strictly non-smoking. However, an ashtray is provided on the terrace for smokers.

Can we host parties or special events at the cottage?

No, in order to maintain the tranquility of the neighborhood, events such as bachelor/bachelorette parties and other celebrations are not allowed at the cottage.

Is there a supermarket close to the cottage for groceries?

Yes, a shopping center including a supermarket is located 1.7km from the cottage.

Where can I find a bakery?

You can find an excellent bakery just 650m from the cottage, or in the town center at 1.7km.

Are there any recommended restaurants nearby?

Many quality restaurants are located in the city center, 1.7km from the cottage. We have prepared a selection of restaurants for you, which you will find in our welcome booklet.

Is there a pharmacy nearby?

Yes, there is a pharmacy located in the shopping center, 1.7 km from the cottage.

Is there a tobacco shop near the cottage?

Yes, a tobacco shop is located 1.1km from the cottage on Avenue Léonard de Vinci.

Are there any castles or historical sites to explore within 1.5km of the cottage?

Yes, you can visit: the Royal Château of Amboise, the Clos Lucé – Leonardo da Vinci’s last residence, as well as Château Gaillard.

Which outdoor activities are available in the vicinity of the cottage?

Is there a market near the cottage?

Absolutely! Located on the banks of the Loire River, the famous Amboise market (Friday and Sunday mornings) offers fresh produce and regional specialties.
